SANTULAN

Date: 2021

Location: Tulum, Quintana Roo, México

Status: Project
Project Type: Residencial condominal

Superficie: 3500 m2

Description:

It is a project that conveys, through balanced and harmonious forms, a sense of integrity and cohesion between the architectural elements and nature. This is achieved through the use of vegetation, water, and structural components such as the staircase, which acts as the backbone of the living area, along with the double-curved roofs.

The permeability of the roofs becomes a constant theme throughout the project, where nature continuously flows through the space, reminding the user of their connection to the surrounding environment. At the same time, the movement of these elements generates fluidity, reflecting the wind's flow across a plot nestled in the jungle.

An equilateral triangle that defines the pool as a concluding element creates a visual focal point, where the large body of water contained within the geometry ultimately defines the balance and the user's experience.
